The finishing of knitted denim fabrics is a very important part of the knitting industry. Enzymes, like enzymes, can be used to degrade cellulose in cotton fibers. Since the color of denim is actually attached to the outer layer of the yarn, after enzyme washing, the fibers and the indigo dye attached to them can be washed off together. When the desired color is obtained, the enzyme washing can be stopped by changing the alkalinity of the water or raising the water temperature. Stone grinding washing is to fade denim by physical methods and increase the color contrast effect. In the washing tank, the denim and the stone are mixed and rolled, and they rub against each other. In this finishing process, pumice and enzymes are used together to give the denim a nostalgic effect. Put only pumice and fabric in the wash tank, then put enzymes in it in the next step and roll together with pumice and fabric until a natural nostalgic effect is produced.

The finishing uses a row of horizontally placed rollers that can be wrapped in sandpaper or chemically treated abrasives. The denim is sleeved over the rollers and the protruding parts are frosted. This finishing method partially fades the denim and creates a fleece on the surface of the denim, giving it a soft, delicate feel. The sanding treatment can also give the denim a stylish look such as wrinkles and cat whiskers.
